Day 7 - Siblings

I have 6 Siblings which makes us a total of 7.(Funny that this Days post is number 7) So It has taken me a long time to sit down and write this post because Its about my siblings and there is just so much to say about your siblings so many paths you could take.I mean they are the only people that really truly know who you are. The only people who can understand where you are coming from, because they come from there too. They are the ones who know all your crap and know how mean you can be and still love you to death any way. They are the only ones you can talk about your parents with whether its good/bad/funny, because they are the only ones who will get it. The most critical of you and your rivals but also your closest confidants and best friends. These are my siblings let me tell you a little about each one. John David Is my oldest sibling. My big brother. He is 21. And the easiest of all my siblings to get along with. Probably because he is laid back. Doesn't pick a fight and in general just does his own thing. (and probably because he is the only sibling who has been out of the home for 4 years at college. Funny how easy it is to get along with someone whom you don't have to deal with every day.) John David has always been really smart. We were all homeschooled. And some how all school just came easily to him. Like Algebra. He didn't even need mom to explain it to him. He just got it. Im not at all bitter about that... I must say though, it is nice to have some one who can do what ever I need done on the computer for me. Because Im not very tech savvy. This is a picture of John David with his girl friend Liz. Some day hopefully in the near future he is going to propose and they are going to get married. Im excited to have this 7th sibling added to the family! =D

Im next in the line up. Im 19. but since Im not my sibling we are skipping me. Chapman is next. He is my little, big brother. He will be turning 18 in 21 days on November 8th. (My little boy is all grown up.) ;) Chapman has the ability to make me laugh really hard and get angrier than ever all at once. Unlike John David. Chapman can be very hard to get along with. He likes to pick a fight. Yet I love hanging out with him because he is hilarious. Chapman is a welder and a hard worker and the comedian of the family. He loves to eat and he's a jerk(I say that laughing because he isn't really a jerk he just isn't gentle. But really he is a super nice guy!) And he loves Jesus so he's on the right track. He will go far in life. He likes to meet as many people as he can all around this town we have lived in our whole lives, because he believes connections are important. Here he is with his girl friend Bailey.

Hannah is 16. Shes pretty hot. Shes super smart.(Like John David) She is the sweetest, kindest person you could ever meet. She loves kids, life guarding and teaching kids to swim or play piano or whatever. She is really one of my best friends. She is the first to tell me I look good. I love her for that! I tell her how I feel and she is sympathetic or rolls her eyes and tells me Im being ridiculous. She looks better in all my clothes than I do. And I hate her for it. She has great legs! And cool mermaid hair! And sometimes all the time has blonde moments.

Sarah Jane is 14. Sassy, opinionated, photogenic, an artist who creates beautiful paintings and drawings! I can come home with THIS GREAT IDEA of a painting that I want her to make for me and I will try to explain it to her and she looks at me like I have 3 heads but then kindly attempts to paint or draw whatever I just tried to describe to her! She enjoys ballet and classical music and giving art lessons to a little girl down the street. She is fun to laugh about things with!

Abby is 11. She is the sister that I share a room with. We are as different from each other as turquoise is from magenta! She likes to act like she is annoyed with me and doesn't like to share a room with me. But really she loves me and hates it when Im not home at night to go to bed. She is not a girly-girl. I am. So when I decorate our room with pink and sparkles, she says, "When you move out Im making it a horse room." She loves riding horses. She takes lessons.She says that one day she wants to be in the Olympics! Im all for it! She refuses to wear anything girly. Like pink or sparkles (I don't get that) Or frilly things or dresses or skirts. She likes comfort over cute!(I don't get that either) Oh well. She is funny and makes funny faces and doesn't like to go away from home too much unless it has to do with horses. And she is forever begging me to braid her hair and clean our room(since it's usually my mess.) And she always tries to tickle me because she knows it's torture! Im very ticklish!

And finally Mary Alice. She is 9. Full of personality. She also seems to have the smarty pants genes that John David and Hannah have. Mary Alice likes to do anything and everything her sisters are doing! She plays piano and rides horses and writes stories and likes crafts and reading and puting together big puzzles and if any of us are knitting or making jewelry or working out or whatever she has to do it too! She also wants to be like her big sisters who wear makeup and bras and shave and do our hair and my favorite wear pink and sparkles!!! She's really pretty cute! =)

Never Thought I'd See The Day!

I never thought I'd See the day that Chapman would curl my hair! I bought a hair wand, because I wanted to have Taylor Swift Curls! I was having trouble reaching the back of my head! So I went to find one of my sisters to curl my hair... but they were all out side so Chapman was the first sibling I could find. I begged him to curl my hair. He tried doing every gross thing in the book to make me change my mind about wanting him to curl my hair(I will spare you the gory details).... I didn't relent I kept begging (I really wanted Taylor Swift Curls.) Then Miracle of Miracles he stood up and came to my room I showed him how to wrap hair around the wand. (Its easy... obviously because he was able to do it!) and that bad boy curled this whole head of hair! I couldn't believe it!

Now if you were looking for a new hair stylist Chapman is confident he is now the best hair dresser ever and Im sure he would be thrilled to style your hair too! ;)

BAD PERM EXPERIENCE!

This is how you know you might not know how to do a perm. 1. You have to ask your co-worker who is also your boss if you roll a perm on wet or dry hair. (The answer is wet) 2. you get the top of the 90 year old clients shirt wet while washing her hair because she is to old to get her neck back in the shampoo bowl. 3. You ask your boss to demonstrate a curl for you just to remind you(cough) of how its done. He kindly points out that the roller set rods you were about to use are not perm rods and kindly fetches the perm rods for you. These are Roller set rods.

These are Perm Rods. Notice they have a little rubber band across back to secure them to hair.

4. After boss demonstrates 13 curls he hands it over to you and in the time it took him to get 13 rods in you manage to get 3 poorly wrapped ones in. 5. Boss sees you struggling, gives advice. You whisper in a panicked moaning sort of way, I CANT DO THIS! Boss kindly takes over and rolls whole perm! (Also imagine client, who is 90 has a 50 year old daughter who is watching you miserably fail in doing all this) 6. You go to wash out perm old lady who all ready cant get her neck back in the bowl definitely cant with an inch of perm rods on the back of her head. but before you realize she is not back in the bowl her WHOLE BACK is WET! I dont mean ran through the sprinkler wet.

I mean you stood under one of those HUGE water buckets at the water park and it dumped on you, WET!

7. You try to dry it with towels you try to hide it before boss sees.... boss sees. (Great! As if you have not all ready made an idiot of your self!) He calmly says ok just blow dry her shirt some and style her up! EMBARRASSING!!! 8. You start to blow dry her shirt. Boss decides he could do a better job grabs dryer and works on it himself! You stand there awkwardly while 50 year old daughter watches all this. 9. You style her up it looks as good as a 90 year old's perm can look and she leaves(with a still drenched shirt). The end.

This is how you know you might be in trouble. When a 90 year old woman walks into the salon for you to give her a perm....

Day 6 - Someone Who Does Not Live In Your Country

I went to Africa in June on a mission trip. While we were there we had to go pick up our interpreter. We were told not to believe him when he introduced him self because he would probably try to tell us he was a "A trucker from Tennessee." This is Bitton! He lives in Zambia, Africa.

During our 2 week stay in Africa we became very fond of Bitton. He always kept us laughing One Day he told us he was a cook in Georgia. Another day he told us he was a Cow Boy from Chicago! (Cant you see it now, "Bitton the African Cow Boy galloping on his horse straight down the main road of the Windy City!")

He also tried to convince us he was from China.... Then he would pretend to speak in Chinese. His face would get all scrunched up and he would utter some noises that sounded something like "Whang Wee Wahh" This of course kept us in stitches.

Look at Bitton looking all Debonair in the above picture... Dont let him have you fooled! ;) One night when we were around the camp fire one of the girls said to another, "I Love you Lilly!" Bitton then said "No you cant love Lilly only Joe(Lilly's husband) can love Lilly!" We all just laughed at him and then each went around the circle and in defiance to Bitton expressed our love for Lilly. He would just shake his head. Then it really backfired on him and Alli said to Bitton "I love you Bitton." Bitton slowly looked up at her. And you could see it in his eyes he didn't want to be rude but he also knew she was messing with him so after looking at her a second he simply replied "Thank You."

Needless to say. "I MISS BITTON!"

Day 5 - 3 Things You Like About Your Personality

1. I am easy going, go with the flow, pretty even headed, I don't get my feathers ruffled at the drop of a hat.

2. 2. I am determined. I can and will set my mind to something and get it done.

3. I am A GIRLY GIRL!!!!!!!!! Sparkles, Pink, Lip Stick, Dresses, Princesses!

Day 4 - 25 Things To Do Before My Next Birthday

1. Hold a new born baby 2. Make at least 3 recipes I found on Pinterest 3. Make at least 3 crafts I pinned on Pinterest 4. Finish writing in 1000 gifts Journal 5. Read a book about The Confederate and Union Army 6. Read a book about Robert E. Lee 7. Read a book about Martin Luther King 8. Memorize who all the presidents were in order 9. See Hunter Hayes 10. Pray for a stranger 11. Stand in public and sing a song very loudly 12. Dress up in ball gowns with friends and go out to eat. 13. Go bowling 15. Finish my 2013 scrap book 16. Learn to type faster so I don't resort to pecking 17. Get a massage 18. Go to Fire House Of Praise for a worship service 19. Be prepared to run my Marathon 20. Visit Bailey at college 21. Go on a hike 22. See Hunger Games 2 23. Memorize a book of the Bible 24. Give 25. Persue with passion my relationship with my Savior
